Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BuildVow collects, uses and protects information when you use our website and contractor-management service.
Effective September 18, 20261. Who operates BuildVow
BuildVow is operated by Abrahan Alberto Maradiaga as an individual. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to abrahanmard@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect the account and workspace information you provide, including names, email addresses, company information, project and client records, estimates, invoices, change orders, notes, photos and other files. We also collect limited technical and security data such as device, session, IP address and activity information.
When paid features are used, Stripe processes payment details. BuildVow may receive billing status, transaction identifiers and limited payment metadata, but does not store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, operate workspaces, process requests and payments, send account and project communications, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems and improve BuildVow.
4. How information is shared
We share information only when needed with service providers that help us host, store, secure, email and process payments, including providers such as Vercel, database infrastructure providers, Resend and Stripe. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.
5. Data control, retention and security
Workspace owners control the business and client information they enter. We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, accounting and backup purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some records may be retained when legally required or necessary to protect the service. You can control essential account communications through your account and email settings where available.
7. Children and policy changes
BuildVow is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
